The practice of pharmacy is a unique combination of the provision of patient care and the running of a business. There are many opportunities for pharmacists to create new services. Although pharmacist has many opportunities in the career, but the need for long life learning for pharmacists is irrefutable because increasingly complex profession, and with rapid medical and technological advances today.
Pharmacy is the health profession that links the health sciences with the chemical sciences and it is charged with ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical drugs. The scope of pharmacy practice includes more traditional roles such as compounding and dispensing medications, and it also includes more modern services related to health care, including clinical services, reviewing medications for safety and efficacy, and providing drug information.
Pharmacists in the modern industrial era have seen their primary responsibility change to safe, accurate, and efficient drug distribution. In the past two decades, however, change in the health care environment have included new pharmaceutical manufacturing and dispensing technology in addition to dramatic restructuring of health care organization, delivery, and financing. Not only pharmaceutical manufacturing but also other pharmacy jobs are more increasing because the needs of people for health and drug are more complex today. Retail Pharmacies
